A HUGE, and I can not stress how huge, element in hip-hop is the DJ. Without them hip-hop would cease to exist. SGL is to C.co. as Ari Gold is to Vinny Chase.

SGL PRODUCTIONS was founded back in 1979 by Eric J. Sutton and Darryl E. Kelson. Originally called "Solid Gold Sounds", we quickly made a name for ourselves playing all the neighborhood house parties and making "basement tapes". At one point, we had a crew of about 12 people who had various duties within the organization. Eric, the backbone of the "crew" is also the visionary who from day one always looked to expand our market and our horizons. Darryl, the thinker, keeps the business end in order. What started off as a hobby and a way to "meet girls and get out of the house" has turned into music driven machine. 

Our "crew" now consists of 5 highly skilled craftsman who not only look at this profession as an art but rise above all others to truly live up to our moniker, "The Crowd Pleasers". They include: Turntablist Extraordinaire - Ron "Wax" Wilson, the Musicman - Kevin "Klef Styles" Presley, the Chief Rocker - Jeff "JP LaRocka" Palmer, the Old School ace - Darryl "Krush" Kelson, the newest member of the crew - Chris "DJ Cam" Campbell, and last but not least, the microphone controller Eric "Mr. E-Z-E" Sutton. - SGL
